Thanks for Celebrating DCSka.com with Us!

Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate DCSka.com turning 10!! It was a little crazy that we sold out so soon, but hopefully many of you eventually made your way up for the show. It was also awesome seeing so many faces from long ago and catching up with everyone. The best part was seeing people showing up in DC Ska and Rude in DC workshirts. 🙂

Crazy Summer Updates!

HOLY COW! In under 24 hours we’ve had some crazy line up additions and changes to our upcoming July shows!

July 11th – Our special BlueBeat DC show… Unfortunately the Hub City Stompers aren’t playing any more, but the Bandulus from Austin are still playing. In addition, DC’s newest ska band the Thrilltones will be debuting!

July 15th – Our regular BlueBeat DC show… The Stress broke up and had to cancel their tour, which totally saddens us. The Hits from TN are still play and so is the Void Union. And we’ve now added a special treat – Chris Murray and Vic Ruggiero (the Slackers, but do we really need to tell you that) as backed by the Forthrights!

July is a busy month and get stoked for it by coming out next week to our June show (6/17) featuring Silver Dollar, Free Lobster Buffet, and the Sessions Reggae Band. If you’re in a ska/reggae/rocksteady band (or any variation of the sort) and want to play a BlueBeat DC show, get in touch with us!

See ya next week,

Michelle & Duncan
